Course Overview:
English 9 Semester 2 continues the foundational ELA skills developed in Semester 1. Students engage with drama and Shakespeare, extended literary analysis, argument writing, language and style study, and synthesis research writing. The course covers Units 7 through 12 over 13 weeks.
Algebra 1 Semester 2 covers exponent rules, polynomials, factoring, quadratic functions, radical expressions, rational expressions, and statistics and data analysis. Students work through self-paced digital lessons with warm-ups, guided practice, and mastery checks.
Algebra 1 Semester 1 covers the foundational skills of algebra: real number properties, solving equations and inequalities, functions and relations, linear functions and slope, and systems of equations. Students work through self-paced digital lessons with warm-ups, guided practice, and mastery checks.
